Please use the below instructions to connect your personal iPhone/iPad to the Bromsgrove School BS-Secure network. This process is a on-time operation per device. Please note, by connecting to the BS-Secure network, you are giving Bromsgrove School permission to install a network certificate to your device. Your WiFi usage will be monitored to ensure everyone's safety and security.
Android
Connect to the BS-Onboard network and when prompted, tap Connect only this time
Open your browser and go to http://wi.fi (Ensure any VPNs are removed from your device beforehand as this will not work and it is against the school policy to have them installed)
Agree to the T&Cs and select Start
Enter your email/username and password and tap Continue
Tap Show all operating systems at the bottom of the page
Open the Other Operating Systems tab
Tap Step 2: Install Your Certificate
Enter your password for your school account when prompted
Select Wi-Fi certificate and tap OK
When the below shows up, add ".uk" to the end so it reads *username*@byod.bromsgrove-school.co.uk
Open the Wi-Fi settings and tap on BS-Secure
Change the EAP method to TLS (You may need to tap View more to see this option)
Use the reference image below to help get the correct settings:
The Identity box should be your username
In the CA certificate box, select BS-Secure from the list of options
In the Domain box, type in bromsgrove-school.co.uk
Under User certificate, select the correct option. It will look like an email address as shown below.
Confirm all the settings above are correct, then tap Connect. It should automatically connect as seen below
Forget the BS-Onboard network, as this is no longer needed
